    Either the neck humbucker sounds too muddy, or the bridge single‑coil becomes harsh and piercing. Unfortunately, both issues often occur at the same time.

    An underwound Retro 59 humbucker meets an overwound Retro 49 single‑coil – perfectly matched for a classic SH‑TL setup with natural balance, clear mids, and musical dynamics.
