Kurt Härtl: "Build me a hum-free pickup with a truly authentic single-coil sound" - that was the request from the well-known guitarist and friend of NOwaxx Pickups.

Creating a single-coil sound without hum is one of the greatest challenges for all pickup developers. Inspired by the construction of a Precision Bass Splitcoil, the result is a humbucker sized pickup that very well reproduces the dynamics and transparency of a 60's single-coil.

In the clean range, all pickup positions are extremely valuable and practical, whether for rhythm patterns or solo licks. Two pickups together create the holy sound that makes Strat and Tele so incomparable.

Additionally, this pickup set performs very well in both lightly overdriven and fully distorted tones.
